Living in the country offers its own unique challenges and opportunities. Come join me as we get a glimpse of what really happens in a small farmhouse tucked away from the cares of this world and how we try to live life in simplicity and a renewed sense of "downhome."

I Can't Take It Anymore
This past week I have been so very, very discouraged. We've had so much blessings going on, but I'm just plain old discouraged. This past week, Mystery Girl has been sick. She is finally feeling better, but it has been a VERY LONG WEEK. I was contacted about the job I didn't get, AGAIN. So, I went to a one on one interview. I left feeling so...so... confused. It went well. I think. But, I'm still not happy. Our "economic staus" is getting to me. I think I am beginning to finally succumb to STRESS. You know, the kind where your head feels like it is spinning, your balance is off, all you want to eat is snacks, and you just plain want to go hide from the whole world. I suppose, having hubby home with me 24/7 is beginning to wear on me as well.
What I really want, is to still be a stay at home mom, work my garden, and live in the outdoors again. I want the hubby to have a job, the kids to be well and AT SCHOOL, publish some stories, and I don't know what.
I am in charge of decorations for our Marriage Conference on the 28th. I'm going fairly simple. We will have potted spring bulbs and I'm making napkin rings from ribbon and buttons. They are really kinda cute. We'll have some teacups filled with M&Ms on all the tables. I think it's going to look really nice.
I'm thinking that the Master's Degree is no going to happen. Not if I have to take out another student load to finish it. I'm short about $4900 in funding right now. Yep, I'm discouraged all right.
On top of it all, I think I'm starting to catch the flu too.
Bah, I'll try a more positive post later. Sorry guys, I'm not doing too well today. Love ya all.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Keep plugging along and things will turn out for the better sooner or later.
Aww fiddles. Well, CountryRana, I feel for ya. At the same time, you have to hang on tight to the facts no matter what things look like. The facts are that God wil never leave you or forsake you.
I'm praying that you'll get to feeling better as well.
Love ya bunches!
Dr. O's 2nd oldest sister. (can ya guess who?) lol
